Outdoor Probe: IP68 rated, 5 year battery life, real-time Internet wireless temperature logger

Connect K-type thermocouple probe, to monitor and record temperature from -270°C to 1372°C (limited by the thermocouple probe). DS18B20 probes are also supported. Record ambient temperaure alongside temperature read from the probe.

Connect widely available and inexpensive DS18B20 (-50°C to 125°C) water-proof temperature probe for monitoring and logging swimming pool, sauna, freezer, fish tank etc temperature.

Connect industry standard GE protimeter probe (BLDxxxx) for continuous monitoring of Wood Moisture Equivalent (WME) 6% and up.

Setup Instructions

Install battery and attach external probe of your choice. Then the rest is the same as any other Wireless Sensor Tag.

Pass the DS18B20 probe from the colored wire side through the cable gland, and insert the 3 wires into the terminal block. Tighten using a flat head screw driver.
Unwrap and insert included 1/2AA battery. A light should start flashing on the circuit board.
After finishing Associate, slide in the circuit board and probe into the enclosure while pulling out the probe cable.
Tighten the end cap.
Tighten the cable gland for water tight seal.

Optionally, attach thermocouple or protimeter probe (to appropriate connector on the back side) instead of, or in addition to the DS18B20 probe.

Instead of the DS18B20 probe, DFRobot SEN0227 and SHT0385 or other SHT20 and SHT3x-based outdoor temperature/humidity probe can also be connected (Basic and Thermocouple version only).
